Labrador Retriever Breeders in South Carolina
|
When buying a Labrador Retriever, always make sure you buy it through a reputable breeder. Since buying a dog is an
important decision, you need to do a lot of research prior to buying one. Finding a Labrador for sale is easy but
finding a good breeder may be a little difficult. A good breeder cares about their dogs and takes care of them like a
family. They do not over breed or just randomly pick any Labrador that is out there. Visiting a breeders’ home is a
good way to find out whether the breeder is reputable or not.

When visiting, breeders should not look suspicious. Also, one clue that can help you decide
on the breeder is seeing if the dogs are excited to see their breeder. While visiting, ask for living conditions. The
living condition should be very clean and the food that they eat must be good quality. There are different breeders
in different state but below is a list of breeders in South Carolina.
1) Hollow Acres Labradors
Hollow Acres Labradors are a new kennel focusing on the AKC (American Kennel Club) breed standard of AKC registered
Labrador Retrievers. Although they are a new kennel, they are not new to the breed. They have been Labrador Hobbyist
for the last 10 years with hopes of improving the breed. They selectively adopted Labradors to provide healthy and
high quality Labradors. They have learned conformation correctness, bone density, structure, coat, balance, and
standards from a veteran Labrador Hobbyist to take better care of their dogs and puppies. Moreover, they have begun
showing their puppies in AKC Sanctioned Events. In March 2011, they had a new litter of Chocolate Labrador Retriever
Puppies. As of now, they own 2 yellow Labrador puppies and 1 adult chocolate Labrador Retriever. Their Labrador
Retrievers meet the strict criteria of OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certifiable hips and elbows.
2) Laruel Knob
Laurel Knob is a small kennel located on 8 acres in the foothills of South Carolina with plenty of room to roam and
explore. They are known to be breeding top quality AKC Labrador Retrievers. Their puppies are bred with an emphasis
